When can our party take place?
Daytime Celebration — Private Party Room + Shared Play: public hours are 8 a.m.–3 p.m., and parties must end by 3 p.m. Play starts by 1 p.m.; Studio starts by 12:30 p.m. Private Celebration — Exclusive Full Venue: starts at 3:30 p.m. or later. Play and Studio add $600 without increasing included children. Full House is private-only, with exclusive venue use already included. Staff setup time is separate from guest access.
How is the celebration room arranged?
Our 400-square-foot private celebration room seats up to 16 children, with a reception-style arrangement for adults to mingle. A dining seat for every adult is not included. For fully seated dining, ask us to confirm a suitable layout and guest count. During daytime parties, play is shared with café guests; private celebrations use the full venue. Please provide both child and adult counts.
What food is included?
Two pizzas, one juice box per child, and a self-serve water station. The pizza quantity remains two when children are added. Additional food is available to order separately through Highland House or its preferred catering partner. Full House includes catering coordination, not a full catering menu.
How do I reserve a date?
A $150 non-refundable deposit and signed party agreement reserve your date. The deposit is applied to your celebration total, with the remaining balance due seven days before the party.
What if we need to move our party?
With at least 14 days’ notice, your deposit may be transferred once to a new date within six months. With 13 days’ notice or less, the deposit is forfeited because staffing and party preparations are already underway.
What happens if we cancel?
The reservation deposit is non-refundable. Once final payment has been processed, refunds are not guaranteed. If we are able to rebook your date, eligible amounts may be offered as Highland House credit.
What if our guest count changes?
Play includes 12 children, Studio includes 16, and Full House includes 25. Additional children cost $25 for Play or $30 for Studio, including its activity. Daytime Play and Studio allow up to 16 children; private parties allow up to 35. Full House groups of 26–35 children require an inquiry for pricing. Adults do not reduce included children or trigger child charges. Final child counts are due seven days before the party; please provide the adult count for planning as well. Total guests and layout are confirmed before booking.
What is the decorations policy?
Bring a few personal touches; leave the setup to us. Families may bring favors and small approved décor items. Larger décor, balloon installations, backdrops, structures, outside decorators, and décor vendors require advance approval. Please skip confetti, glitter, silly string, piñatas, tape, adhesives or Command strips on walls or furniture, heating or cooking appliances, and open flames other than birthday candles.
What should guests wear in the play area?
Highland House is shoes-off in the play area, and grippy socks are required for both children and adults who enter it. Guests may bring their own or purchase themed grippy socks on-site for $4.25 per pair.
Can we bring food or a cake?
Outside food is welcome for a $100 service fee, including setup, serving, and cleanup by our team. Please share plans for birthday desserts, individual snacks, dietary accommodations, and outside drinks so we can confirm the details before booking. Cake-cutting service is separate: $45 for up to 25 total guests, including cutting, plating, distribution, and cleanup; above 25 total guests, inquire for pricing. A cake or cupcake display stand is included in every package. If requesting both services, we’ll confirm the overlap before booking.
Can you accommodate food allergies?
Please tell us about severe allergies before your celebration so we can help coordinate the best options. Highland House is a shared space, so we cannot guarantee an entirely allergen-free environment.

Our space and experiences are designed especially for children ages 0–6. We’ll help you choose the right package, rhythm, and activities for your child’s age, interests, and guest count.
